The study, a double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial of 100 men with erectile dysfunction (ED) treated with sildenafil citrate, will be performed at a total of 1,000 hospitals nationwide. The trial will be conducted over three to four months to assess the safety and efficacy of the drug. The men will be randomly assigned to take a dose of 25 mg sildenafil citrate and a placebo or a placebo group.
The men will be asked to complete the Patient Information Leaflet (PIL), which will be included with the study medication, and follow up questions about their sexual performance. They will also be asked to provide their complete medical history and current treatment with sildenafil citrate, which is the only active ingredient in the drug.
